I would have loved to see some more beautiful engraving here but that's just not how Tudor/Rolex .I have a Pelagos 39, FXD & old Tudor Submariner. I beat the poop out of that Sub daily for 29 . I recently picked up the new Pelagos 39 and I absolutely love it. It's not perfect .

Clean, crisp and simple with no date (i never set a date anyway). Size and weight are spot on, keep forgetting i'm wearing a watch and hard to detect it's on until i glance down at it and stare lovingly. Obviously buy the one that speaks to you most. However the Sub is significantly more expensive, maybe twice the price. I personally was debating a used no-date 90s-00s era Sub v. a Pelagos 39 and concluded the Pelagos is better for me, and I like it more. It’s modern and actually much better built than an older Sub.

Decided not to buy because I did not like the sun-ray brushing on dial and bezel.
